Questionnaire analysis

From conducting a questionnaire I discovered that 95% of my intended target audience did not read the college magazine, I also discovered that if a college magazine was available, 75% of my audience would not pay for it. Only 25% of my audience would pay, but would only pay up to 50p.Also from my questionnaire I discovered what would entice my target audience to pick up and read the magazine. They said the front cover must contain a variety of colours that will attract them, also attractive images and graphics would also help lure in the audience. My target audience also expressed, through the questionnaire, what they would like to see in the college magazine. A majority would like to read about upcoming college events, competitions in order to win prizes and also they would like to see shout-outs and personal messages. My target audience also expressed what they didn’t want to see in the magazine. Most of my audience did not want to read about the history of the college or advice about how to deal with the college work load.Out of all the people asked, 50% said they would buy/pick up the college magazine on monthly basis, while 20% said they would read it on a termly basis, while the last 30% said they would read it on a weekly basis.A large majority of students were asked what they would like to see included in the magazine said they would like news on up-coming gigs for popular bands and groups, but equal amounts of students wanted both Facebook related news as well as Job advertisements from local business’ . I also found out that not many students wanted to read about world news or topics on chess, they also didn’t want to see a Sudoku puzzle in the magazine.
